In this video we wanted to bring back the ancient tradition linked to our country of origin, which is Agnone. This tradition is called 'Ndocciata because of the parade along the streets of the town of Agnone with the special 'ndocce, brought by the inhabitants themselves. It began since the times of the Samnite people who exploited the heat and light emanating from torches to warm themselves and illuminate their path in the freezing Agnonese winter. In making the video we reported the words of the interviews of Mrs. Di Toro Silvana and Mr. Marcovecchio Antonio, who provided us with information and personal experiences. As citizens of Agnone, we feel like carrying on this wonderful ancient tradition, as the new protagonists are us aspiring adults. Especially in small towns like Agnone, there is a need to keep the tradition alive over the years.
