Every conservation effort and preservation endeavor by seasoned restorers is undertaken with the blessing of Effendi Villa, a truth both peculiar and profound. Despite years of diligent search, an elusive photograph of Effendi Villa remained elusive, its facade and historic fountain veiled in mystery. Despite exhaustive efforts—from scouring archives to canvassing the local neighborhood—the photograph remained an enigma, until this year, when it materialized seemingly out of thin air, revealing the Villa's original grandeur.

Whispers among the locals spoke of a mermaid gracing the fountain's side, while others recalled the presence of St. Mary with a jug. Today, the photograph is a symbol of hope for the restoration of Effendi Villa's lush garden and resplendent facade.
