A talk by Tony Harpur about the history of the Market House in Midleton (now Midleton Library). The building was the centrepiece of the town's political, commercial, social, and even educational life from the time it was built between 1670 and 1685. This talk will explore the history of the building since it was first built to the present day.

This talk is presented as part of the 2024 Historic Towns Initiative (HTI) conservation programme for Midleton Library which is grant funded by the Heritage Council
