The Louth Urban Food Sanctuary (LUFS) was launched in October 2023. This innovative project aims to help to mitigate against the increasing challenges of climate change, biodiversity loss and the rising cost of living by empowering Louth’s citizens with the skills to improve sustainability by developing our local food resilience. The project leads, Louth County Council, have partnered with Creative Spark and will be working with local people to develop a community garden.

We are supported by Creative Ireland. Creative Ireland is a culture based programme designed to promote individual, community and national wellbeing. The core proposition is that participation in cultural activity drives personal collective creativity, with significant implications for individual and societal well being and achievement.
