Local launch of author Martin Carberry's book "Wood of The Stoney Land" A native of an Doireachán Mór, Martin recounts his youth spent in the local area and many long days on the bogs. Martin will be reading excerpts from his book.

Martin has written two pieces of poetry especially for this occasion which will be recited by Breedge Cassidy & Kitty Carberry.

Martin is also a talent artist and will display some of his paintings from his collection.

This event will be off particular interest to natives of the locality and is sure to bring back long forgotten memories of times past and of the people's connection to the bogs.
