We aspire to inspire a deeper appreciation for dry stone walling as both a cultural tradition and a sustainable land management practice in the Wicklow Uplands. Our 'Heritage Week' event should foster stewardship of these significant heritage landscape features by promoting community engagement in their preservation. We are delighted to be hosting Dr Marcus Collier, Associate Professor of Sustainability Science at Trinity College, Dublin. Marcus' research is centered on anthropogenic ecosystems with a focus on social-ecological systems, urban novel ecosystems and nature-based solutions - Dry Stone Walls!
