Ramparts River Walk
Aperçu
Meeting at Ladywell 11am 17th Aug we will walk the course of the Ramparts River. This river was vital to Dundalk for centuries acting as a defence for the early town, powering a mill, being a place for wildlife and a meeting place. Bring a poem about rivers, your stories of the river and your knowledge to share The aim of the walk is to remind us in the simple act of walking of the importance of rivers to all of us, to remind us that we are stewards of the waters and can stand up for the rights of our rivers. The walk is followed by a picnic in St Helena's Park. Follow on social media for updates
