The Railway Preservation Society will visit Kilkenny on Sunday 18th August with Steam Loco no. 131 built in 1902. The carriages are Cravens built in the early 1960's which were withdrawn in 2006 and restored by the RPSI.

We are bringing 300 passengers to Kilkenny to experience the events taking place in the city.

We will have on board the Star of Knockage Accordian Band from Carrickfergus who will march to Kilkenny Castle and hold a concert between 2.30 and 3.30.

Bring your children down to enjoy the sound, smell and sight of a working steam locomotive.
