Please come along to share your stories and memories
of the local heritage at these sites and help us to make
connections between the two Black Loughs which are
located a short distance from one another
(Gortglassobrien & Tountinna)
We hope to document our findings so that these
heritage sites are valued.
Tountinna is accessible by car or foot. Access to the Lough itself may prove difficult for those with mobility issues. Refreshments will be served on the day to make the event more inclusive and enjoyable for all. It is recommended to wear suitable walking shoes and clothing to protect against all weathers. There will be a small mobile shelter on the day to house the refreshments.
