Enjoy a short tour/talk at the spectacular Inish Beg Estate on Inish Beg, the most northerly of the Carbery Hundred Islands in the tidal estuary of the Ilen River. Now a working farm run on organic principles, the 97-acre estate also includes 42 acres of woodlands plus a walled garden and a sunken garden. There is also a bronze age Cromlech (boulder burial) in addition to a tree-covered Lissaghaun (little fort or fairy mound) in front of the main house which dates from 1899.
