Monkstown Village is very fortunate to be surrounded by spectacular trees of many varieties. Its Tree Trail is now well-known, a self-guided loop walk which brings you past forty different species. These include most of the native Irish trees, many of the main introduced species and some specimen or unusual trees. The trail is set out in an attractive leaflet with information on each of the species on monkstownvillage.ie

Join us for the second of two accompanied walks round part of the 7km trail. As part of Heritage Week, we’re delighted to welcome back our expert guide, Charles Shier, and you’ll be able to ask him anything you ever wanted to know about the wonderful trees around us.
