An Allingham Trail Walk will be held in Ballyshannon Sunday 25th August 2024. This is to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the poet William Allingham and will visit sites in the town associated with the poet. Meet outside the Abbey Arts Centre Ballyshannon at 3 p.m. Guide Anthony Begley County Donegal Historical Society. The event will also include songs and verses by the poet. All welcome
