Aperçu
The festival hall hosts many events. Friesen is an Alsatian village renowned for its half-timbered buildings, about fifty of which have been preserved. These buildings span five centuries, from 1497 to 1878\\. The monobloc farm, dating from 1497-1500 and appraised by dendrochronology, is one of the oldest peasant houses dating from Alsace. The village thus preserves an exceptional rural architectural heritage, illustrating the history and traditions of the region.
