Look at the exhibition differently
The charters built large agricultural buildings to collect the proceeds of tithing (tax in kind). The Grange Dimière de la Courrerie is the majestic witness of their wealth. Mentioned in 1549, it is rebuilt in 1658\\. This real agricultural cathedral measured 22.5 meters in facade, 35 meters deep, and 18 meters high to which must be added a low level of stables. The Grange Dimière suffered a major fire in 1906 and its length was reduced by half. In 1993, it was restored and transformed into a cultural place. Listed as a historic monument, it has been hosting summer exhibitions of contemporary art and numerous cultural events since 1994.
