The Research centre on the History(Story) of Families (in former days CDHF), based(established) in 1991 is an original work of the General Council of the Haut-Rhin. Most unusual, he(it) puts publicly available an important historic, thematic and genealogical documentation. He can make any genealogical research(search) in the previous(former) registry office(civil status) in 1892 and the parish registers of Ancien Régime for the current department of the Haut-Rhin. It has a large genealogical library(bookcase) treating families of France. It keeps important one Archives Collections concerning the whole French territory.
