Frêche is a small village in the south-west of France, located in the eastern part of the department of Landes, in the terroir of Bas-Armagnac, bordering the department of Gers in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. Its inhabitants are called the Fréchois and the Fréchoises. The commune covers 23.4 km² and has 402 inhabitants since the last census of the population. With a density of 17.2 inhabitants per km², Le Frêche has seen a 4.1% increase in its population compared to 1999\\. Surrounded by the towns of Lannemaignan, Lacquy and Arthez d'Armagnac, Le Frêche is located 5 km southwest of Saint-Justin the largest city in the vicinity.
