Self-guided tour of the church of Lubilhac
Built before 1179, the church of Lubilhac is one of the last three jewels of the Romanesque art of the Privas region, and a unique monument in the Vivarais. It has been listed as a historic monument since 2012\\. High place of heritage located overlooking the river Ouvèze, the church of Lubilhac also values contemporary creation through exceptional works by Gérard Garouste, Antoine Poncet or Thomas Houseago. In 2002, Marc Ladreit de Lacharrière, member of the Academy of Fine Arts, president of the Culture & Diversity Foundation and president of the Association pour le rayonnement de la Grotte Chauvet - Pont-d'Arc, wanted to undertake the restoration of this family and historical heritage, completed in 2010\\.
