Aperçu

The museum dedicated to the site of the Abbey of Saint-Etienne, inaugurated on February 2, 2019, was created by the Collège Episcopal Saint-Etienne under the impulse of its head of establishment, Guy Heitz. It was thought to relate the evolution of the site, from the Roman period until today. It is intended for students, their families, teachers and staff, as well as occasional visitors at special events (open days, European heritage days, conferences, etc.). The scenography is organized around three main axes: the evolution of the site from the Roman period to the present day, the history of the place as a school and the liturgical objects and pieces of collection belonging to the Episcopal College Saint-Etienne.
