Aperçu

Built in the late 16th-early 17th century, the Le Tellier family built the castle in the typical 17th century style. Around 1720, the estate passed into the hands of the Goullet-de Rugy family and then, by descent, to the Saint-Sauveur family until the Revolution. In 1939, the property was acquired by Monsieur Bourdel, who undertook the original restoration of the park and buildings. He was the last private owner before the purchase of the castle and its park by the municipality in 1976\\. Originally, the building had only the central part, corresponding to the terrace that preceded it. Its architecture and interior design elements attest to the Louis XIII style. The two low wings and the attached agricultural buildings were added in the 18th century.
