Paris fête les Jeux: The Bassin de la Villette is one of the venues for the ‘Paris Celebrates the Games’ festivities during the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
From 6 July to 8 September 2024, enjoy the Paris Plages events along the Bassin de la Villette!
Measuring 800 metres long and 70 metres wide, the Bassin de la Villette is the largest artificial body of water in Paris, linking the Canal de l'Ourcq to the Canal Saint-Martin and developing river transport. Numerous events and cultural activities (shows, concerts, theatre) make this basin a festive place and very popular with Parisians.
