If remarkable historians, such as Jean Lartigaut or Nicolas Savy, have looked at its history, it is because this small Quercy village, discreetly located far from the roads, has charms to discover. The association for the renovation and protection of the heritage of Pontcirq is once again, after a few years of silence, to awaken all its heritage potential. Three events are planned on 16 September for the European Heritage Days: two discovery tours, a conference and the opening of the church.
