Canonical house built for the Big(Great) Dean of the équestral chapter of the abbey of Murbach in 1765\\. She(It) is a member(part), with the church Notre-Dame, of a characteristic neoclassical architectural ensemble of Alsace of the 18th s. The museum is devoted to art and to local history(story) and shelters the most prestigious earthenware collection of THEODORE DECK (1823-1891), some five hundred rooms(parts,plays) in naturalistic motives and in oriental(eastern) influence.
