Exhibition: dialogue with contemporary art at the Château de Taurines
The castle, dating from the 13th to the 14th century, is located in the heart of the peaceful rural village of Taurines, in the town of Centrès, in Aveyron. From 1981, an association of volunteers revived this castle in collaboration with the companions of duty, who realized real masterpieces such as a spiral staircase with hollow core, a suspended keystone, a monumental door and chimneys. On the strength of this initiative, the volunteer association organized many cultural events at the castle, thus contributing to the partial financing of the work to be carried out. It was in this spirit that the first initiatives for the dissemination of contemporary art in the Aveyron department were created. Many artists, such as Claude Clarbous, Victoria Klotz, Nicolas Primat, Delphine Gigoux-Martin, Aurèle, Michel Cure, Alain Josseau, Armand Jalut, Grout/Mazéas, Romain Bernini, Virginie Barré, Damien Deroubaix, Françoise Quardon, Baptiste Debombourg, Stéphane Belzère, Daniel Coulet, Arno Fabre,
