The old house «Buffon» is one of the remarkable houses of the city. Built in the early 19th century, it has retained the charm and architectural elements of this period: main house in volcanic masonry, shutters with louvers, wooden outbuildings and inner courtyard. Acquired by the city and restored in 1995 as part of the «City of Art and History» label, it is now occupied by the Heritage and Cultural Activities unit. Throughout the year, various actions are offered to the public.
