The chapel of the Chartreuse of Champmol is classified as "Historic Monument". Only his(her,its) remarkable portal(gate), realised between 1388 and 1393 by Jean de Marville then Claus Sluter persists. The latter(This last) is included in the chapel built in the XIXth century and which was realised in neo-Gothic style. Moreover, Moses's Well, base of a monumental ordeal(Calvary), today missing, is the work of Claus Sluter, assisted by its nephew and by other collaborators. Only the base persists and it is adorned with the statues of six prophets of the Old Testament, of whom Moses. He(It) gets a foothold in the well of the centre of the old(former) big(great) cloister of the chartreux(Carthusian monks).
