The museum aims at a duty of memory that confers a moral significance to the collective memory. This moral obligation to remind us of historical and tragic events contributed to the creation of our museum in order to preserve the memory of this dark period of world history. Just as it is important not to forget the human sacrifice endured by the French and world population through exodus, occupation, deportation and liberation. Come and discover this museum, which has more than 55 fully equipped mannequins, vehicles (truck, armoured vehicle, cannon, etc.), hundreds of objects from the soldier’s daily life and a multitude of individual and collective military equipment.
