The history(story) of the church of Hallines is associated with that of mills with paper on Aa. The church Notre-Dame-De-Bon-Secours was built between 1868 and 1873\\. Of neo-Gothic style, it is the work of the Norman architect Clovis on a command(order) of members of the family Dambricourt, possessing stationeries in Hallines and in Wizernes; to replace the old(former) too dilapidated become church.
