Superb building of the twelfth century, the mill of the Bishops, located on the site of the Pansière a few steps from the Hotel Araur, was in turn a mill as its name suggests, a hydraulic mill, a rice mill, an electric factory, and finally, a sardine cannery until 1979\\. This building, one of the oldest monuments of Agde, has an imposing fireplace at the entrance, classified as Historic Monuments. Today, it is an event venue with apartments in its upper part. It hosts for example the very popular Chocolate Fair in November or the Knife Fair in March, but also exhibitions. It will be connected to the Château Laurens by a removable bridge.
