The chartreuse of Port-Sainte-Marie is located at the heart of Combrailles at the edge of Sioule, on the municipality of Chapdes-Beaufort. Having based(established) in 1219 further to a donation of Guillaume and Raul de Beaufort the monastery establishes(constitutes) of an agricultural and land domain until Limagne especially in the region of Prompsat.
