FROM SAN NICOLÁS TO PUERTO VIEJO, THE FISHERMEN'S PATH

This route takes us from the seafaring Algorta to the fishermen's Algorta.
The upper part of Algorta grew stronger during the 19th and 20th centuries, when helmsmen and sailors from the area began building their houses there to have the perfect view of the ships entering the Abra.

In fact, the origin of Algorta is at the end of the route we will take: in the fishermen's community that lived in the beautiful houses of Puerto Viejo. Fishermen and sailors, clear representatives of the Algortan character.

DESDE SAN NICOLÁS AL PUERTO VIEJO, EL CAMINO DE LOS PESCADORES 

 Este recorrido nos lleva desde el Algorta marinero al pescador. La parte alta de Algorta se fortaleció durante los siglos XIX y XX, cuando los timoneles y marineros de la zona comenzaron a construir allí sus casas para tener la vista perfecta de los barcos que se adentraban en el Abra. 

De hecho, el origen de Algorta está en el final del recorrido que realizaremos: en la comunidad de pescadores que vivió en las hermosas casas del Puerto Viejo. Pescadores y marineros, claros representantes del carácter algorteño.
