The history(story) of the church holy Jean-Baptiste de Viuz goes back up(raises) to early Christian time(period): the vestiges of a Roman building(ship) of Ier century and of three churches of the VIth, VIIIth and Xth centuries are visible in the archaeological crypt. The current building is compound(made up) of a Romanic chorus(choir) of the XIIth century adorned with capitals(big tops) in green molasse decorated with flowers of water and baroque stalls of 1696\\. Font too dates of the XVIIth century, as for the nave and for the collateral, they are of neoclassical style. The whole trains(forms) an unique(only) exceptional set(group) in Savoy.
