Opposite Georgin Square is the current covered market of Épinal. Initially built of wood on a part of the land of the convent of the Annunciades Bleues, then rebuilt in 1895 with a metallic frame (at the same time as the Pavillon Baltard or the Eiffel Tower) and after having undergone several rehabilitation interventions, including the last one in 2005, the covered market of Épinal opens today on a vast square overlooking the Place François Georgin.
