In the heart of the city centre, the Hyères Museum, The Bank, Museum of Cultures and Landscape, is reborn in the old and majestic annex of the Bank of France, a remarkable space of neoclassical and art deco style, dating from the beginning of the 20th century. The building with its contemporary rehabilitation and respectful of its architectural heritage is a privileged setting for collections classified as «Musée de France». In this mysterious place closed for almost 20 years, the visitor is now invited to discover works of art at the turn of the vault or other atypical spaces such as the central patio glazed or the auxiliary cash. Among the more than 8,000 objects in the museum’s eclectic collections, the permanent collection on the first floor contains elements from each of them.
