The tower of Dolmayrac, built at the end of the 12th or early 14th century, protects the village from the side of the plateau, where the natural defences are less. It was built next to the castrum and the ramparts that surrounded the village. Its Gothic Revival door is more recent, dating from the 19th century. It is divided into three levels, the last of which is a terrace overlooking the valley.
