Ukraine is country which has always been a part of Europe, sharing common culture and history with our European neighbours. Therefore, it was not surprising to discover that the hidden gem of our district, the Yablonovski-Brunitski Palace, has Polish and German origin.
We are a group of five students of Stryi Lyceum after Andriy Korchak who are fascinated with local
historical and cultural heritage. We visited the palace at the end of October 2024 after a thorough study of its history and legends connected with this place. The owners were kind enough to allow us to film in this location. They also told us how they obtained the old furniture and other authentic things which are on display in the reconstructed rooms.
In this video we are presenting the stunning views of the palace and the surrounding territoty, telling about the history of this incredible place, as well as the numerous legends and mysteries. We tried to produce our own version of the legend of the White Lady who is believed to appear in the hornbeam alley in the park. Our group had a lot of fun while filming, so we could not help including some backstage shots.
Enjoy the charming and mysterious atmosphere of this cultural wonder.
