The library(bookcase) of Collegium Wilhelmitanum grew organically with the institution the name of which it bears and of that it became a jewel(flagship). Further to the passage of the city of Strasbourg in Reform, a boarding school(internship) for students was installed(settled) in 1544 in the disused convent of the monks of Saint Guillaume.
