El Cerrillo de El Rebollar is a remarkable spot, an important part of the cultural heritage of Madrid’s Sierra region. Nestled in a stunning natural setting, with La Pedriza and the Sierra de los Porrones in the background, it preserves the remains of a Visigothic church dating back to the 7th century, associated with an extensive necropolis of cist and sarcophagus burials. Later, the church was modified and converted into a hermitage.
Come and explore your Visigothic past!
