Using the VERNADOC method, objects of vernacular architecture are researched and documented in the form of drawings, using solely traditional methods, i.e. drawing in ink. This project envisages a one-day gathering in Gornja Lastva, Tivat, one of the best preserved rural areas in Montenegro. The event will present:

• previous project and activities related to the protection and restoration of Gornja Lastva
• an overview of vernacular architecture in Montenegro
• a guest, a participant in numerous international VERNADOC methodology camps, who will present the history of this methodology, its benefits and importance, as well as their experience from the camps
• an exhibition of drawings of several buildings documented during previous international camps, and, especially important for us, the drawings of the olive mill in Gornja Lastva.

The project is supported through the Public Competition for the Allocation of Funds for Non-Governmental Organization Projects for the year 2025, Municipality of Tivat.
