‘Mootie’s Hoos’ is an exhibition of mixed media work that explores the powerful connection between people, memory and place. It is primarily based on talking to an elderly lady about her life on her croft cottage in North Roe. Mixed media artwork will convey the story of her life and that of the many other women on the island who managed their crofts while their husbands were away fishing.
