The event will focus on the "History of Law and Order in Dundalk from 1800 to the foundation of the state in 1922" Strategic points along the way will eg; sites of a barracks that once stood at Crowe St, Anne St,the Old Gaol and the existing Garda Barracks at the crescent. The tour will conclude in the Oriel Centre where a short presentation will take place. Light refreshments will be served afterwards. The talk will involve interaction with those taking part along the route. We will have members taking care of the safety of walkers along the route also. Assemble in Earl street at 6.30pm. Concluding with light refreshments at 8.30pm in the Oriel Centre, Carrick Rd, Dundalk.
