Come and discover the Saint-Pierre de Dompierre-aux-Bois church, rebuilt after the First World War.

On September 22, 1914, this church is the scene of a tragic event: the bombing of the French artillery, in its attempt to dislodge the Germans installed in the village, make 24 civilian victims and 17 wounded among the inhabitants locked in the church. A stained glass window recalls this episode: the crucified Christ, with his crown of thorns, the side and hands pierced; the cup and the host, symbol of the body delivered and the blood shed.
