Aperçu
Great Chapel of Mercy This chapel was built from 1869 to 1875 despite the 1870 war, to celebrate the life and mission of the Sisters of Mercy de Sées, founded in 1823. It was Sr. Augustin, then superior general, who drew the plans in 1868. Built on the same fine and slender Gothic architecture as the cathedral of Sées, the large chapel features human-scale stained glass windows and is one of the emblematic places of religious life in Sées. Come and visit with your family, with your children: a game to discover the chapel will be available! Accessibility
