Discover the exhibitions of the Domaine de Suzac - Parc de l'Estuaire
In a unique setting in Saint-Georges-de-Didonne, the Parc de l'Estuaire, site of the Natural Escapes network of the Department of Charente-Maritime, faces the mouth of the Gironde estuary. Perched on a cliff and nestled in the coastal forest of Suzac, this sensitive and protected natural space offers visitors a discovery of nature playful and educational. At the top of the watchtower, perched 55 m above the ocean, enjoy an exceptional 360° view over the estuary and the forest. In the shelter of the Villa de l'Estuaire, discover the exhibition "Revivre, les espèces disparues", an unprecedented video mapping experience and a space dedicated to the Cordouan lighthouse, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. On the forest trail, an original novelty: an exhibition "Les veilleurs de lune, sur la piste des nocturnes"... to discover! Then taste local and "organic" products at the Café Transat, on a terrace offering a magnificent panorama over the estuary, the lighthouse of Cordouan and the Côte de Beauté (opening at 2pm). Enjoy, you are at the Domaine de Suzac! Journey about 1 hour. Stop of entries at 5 PM. Informations Prefer the baby carrier to the stroller. Dog (nice) allowed, kept on a leash. Free. Route about 1h.
