Meet at the Pavillon des Eaux for the start of the guided tours.✨ Why come?
A must-see place: the "Source Salmière", in Miers, is rich in mineralized water with recognized virtues. Remarkable architecture: you will discover the Pavillon des Eaux, built at the beginning of the 20th century in a magnificent Art Deco style.🏛️ What you will see
On old postcards, an open hall inspired by "Eiffel", added around 1905, on the right side of the spa establishment, to shelter the guests. When the Water Pavilion was completed, the hall was dismantled and rebuilt a little further:- First used as storage by the spa,
- Then, after its closure, transformed for agricultural use. Ongoing project: restoration of this 25 m long hall, now in poor condition. Once renovated, it will be moved back to its original location, along the main building. During the visit, you will discover the history of the site and its exceptionally mineralized waters. You will learn more about the upcoming restoration project, its challenges, techniques and ambitions.
