Visit of the collection of ceramics by Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat
The particularity of Pierre-Adrien Dalpayrat is to have developed in his workshop in Bourg-la-Reine, a particular color: the famous "red Dalpayrat". Presented in the house where he lived, the Art Nouveau inspired slabs and polychrome tiles inherited from the 18th century testify to the interpretation of a traditional know-how: ceramics, appeared in the Neolithic! A permanent exhibition dealing with the influence of Art Nouveau on his work, the inventiveness of forms and his work on material, the development of the "Rouge Dalpayrat" and the ceramic tradition in Bourg-la-Reine, accompanies the visit.
