Join us for a guided walk from Monasterboice Inn to the world famous Monastic Site of Monasterboice, where experienced volunteer tour guides will lead you through the history of the monastic site, its Round Tower and and spectacular high crosses ( Muirdeach's Cross regarded as the finest high cross in the whole or Ireland and the West Cross, noted as being the tallest in Ireland). It is then back to the wonderful Monasterboice Inn for light refreshments and chats. This is an outdoor event and appropriate footwear and clothing are advised. Some of this walk will take place on public road and everyone will be responsible for their own safety. When parking at the Monasterboice Inn, please use the rear car park. Light refreshments will be available at the Monasterboice Inn following the walk.
