Join us in commemorating the Great Famine through two significant events: 1. The publication and official launch of a new booklet featuring original correspondence from the Tulsk and Baslick/Ballinagare Famine Relief Committees to the authorities in Dublin Castle, offering a rare and moving insight into local experiences during this tragic period. 2. The placing of free-standing memorial rocks with commemorative plaques in Tulsk Abbey and Baslick cemeteries, honouring those who perished during the Famine. All are welcome.
