On the occasion of the European Heritage Days, explore the village of Saint-Romain with various guided tours. You will discover the routes and events that marked the formation and transformation of the village and its territory, following these archaeological and historical routes: - exhibition Saint-Romain, from Prehistory to the present day, to the town hall; - visit to the Merovingian metropolis, the Cluniac priory, the parish church, the church; - visit to the site of the «Old castle», the barred spur to the ducal castle; - visit to the site of the refuge of the «Orchard»; - visit to the House of Heritage, centre for reception, studies and training on rural history. An artistic animation, Entre cour et jardins, created by the Dancing (Centre de développement chorégraphique national), will be offered on the site of «Verger» and the place des Tilleuls on September 28 and 29.
