ORG PHENIX by Vahan Soghomonian, A Genesis of the Trinity
A sound installation to discover La Trinité To tell you the eventful history of the chapel, which was in turn a church, a classroom, a gymnasium, an astronomical observatory and a concert hall, The Trinity has called on the plastic artist Vahan Soghomonian who will make it resound through one of its lost treasures: its organ, which will rise from its ashes for a weekend! ORG is an interactive and evolving installation through collaborations (IAC de Villeurbanne, Fondation Bullukian, Superspectives...) as well as a new instrument: an experimental organ, reconnected to its ancient function as a cosmic machine in the age of the digital brain and algorithms. Transformed into PHENIX it resonates the spirit of places through the fragility of our footprints. Graffiti faded in marble, breaths trapped in the reverb, fragments of ecstasy or hope, so much material to find the thread of a memory in common. Informations Free and open visit without reservation.
