The volunteers will be keen to tell you the story of the Pétolat locomotive, born in Dijon on August 4, 1931, restored identically and preserved by us. Classified as a historic monument since 2004, it is the only one still in operation. You will be able to take advantage of the explanatory panels and archive photos and watch the engine start-up. The locomotive can even take you for a short trip on the railway network: it is not banal to have a historic monument that is born in one place (Dijon) and continues its life in another (Is-sur-Tille).
